It's acer!

I'm not sure how I feel about this photo. I quite like that the focus is in the middle of the tree, but I'm not convinced I got the light right. The weather is weird today - that's my excuse anyway!

This was a really scrawny tree when we moved into the house 7 years ago. We have talked on more than one occasion about removing it, but it has suddenly come into it's own. It is now taller than I am (not that that is saying much!) - seems it liked the extreme weather conditions over the winter!
