Late cirrus

Luke Howard, the man who named the clouds, called these high clouds 'cirrus' from the Latin for a lock of hair. This one, late in the evening, reflected quite a lot of light into my garden. Damn contrail running across from the left - I wonder what Howard would have called them?

It'll be fine tomorrow. Good job I watered the garden.
