Backblip

This is perhaps the first time I've seen the Eye since I started blipping. He peers out, usually at night, across the Firth of Forth.

Today was pretty active for a change. We headed to Hector's for brunch with the Kiwi before he heads off on the rest of his trip. Ended up walking up from there to Teuchters to catch the New Zealand v Italy game. He was quite excited towards the end. I was pissed off at the penalty given to Italy, bunch of cheaters! A glance in the wrong direction could knock those guys over.

From there onto colleague's house for tea and cake, and to admire his sweet pad. Soooo jealous, garden plus entire townhouse, but they rent and share the place with some friends who have sprogs. It's a high price to pay!

Oh, and it was properly HOT today, even at 6pm.

And also, that's not a sunset, it's the flare from the oil refinery across in Fife. the photo was taken at about 1:30 AM.
