The story of London

A couple of hours after this serene photo was taken all hell broke loose over the ownership of this lovely little book. My youngest daughter had been sitting in her sister's room reading this book and had left it on her bedroom floor. At bedtime, big sis saw the book and thought that she would read it at bedtime. Enter little sis in search of her bedtime book and a massive cat fight begun. Mum had to go and break it up.
As for the book - what a great book. They should make books like these for adults. I've learnt so much about the history of London. Easy to read and beautifully illustrated.
