Chicken.

I keep going down to the chicken run and singing 'Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, lay a little egg for me' maybe I should stop as our lovely chickens haven't produced an egg yet ;-)

I notice that the combs and wattles are developing more and starting to turn from pale pink to a lovely red colour, my book tells me that this is a sign that they are getting older and getting to the age when they will start laying eggs. Fingers crossed we won't have too much longer to wait.

You can be sure that the first egg will be blipped, so watch this space!
