Whatisit - at the hospital

Seriously, I don't know what gauge this is -- a pressure gauge of sorts methinks. Found it behind my aunt's bed at the ward. Together with my Dad and paternal aunt, I went to visit my maternal aunt who was hospitalised last Monday.

Her surgery for her back went on well. She told us how she was given local anesthesia on her back, but could still feel AND hear the doctor using a small chisel of sorts, chipping at her back bone and inserting something to cement the crack along part of her spine.

*shudders*

I am glad her surgery went well. Thank you all for your prayers. She is still being kept in the hospital for further observation and scans. I do hope that all is well, and she can recover quickly and have a peace of mind. God bless her.

p.s. if you look closely, you can see my paternal aunt and my Dad in the gauge's reflection.. though, eh, my unsteady hands caused the blurness of this shot >.<
