Cygnet Spoon

An early blip (and one which is likely to get changed later for obvious reasons)

This is a close up of the cygnet in The Spoon which was my present to my first grandchild born yesterday.

Designed by my son it was made by a master silversmith (James Brent Ward) in Pittenweem and hallmarked in the Edinburgh assay office.

It is a cygnet because that is what the baby was refered as throughout the pregnacy (due to its family name being Swan) and the feather on the end is in reference to the jewelry made for his mother (by the same silversmith) and worn on her wedding day ( a tiara with interlinked swan heads - also designed by No1 son0and feather earrings).
