Rose

It has been a very warm day, and the office I work in is very low tech. We don't have air con, just blinds, and windows that don't open too wide (in case someones day is that bad?). So tonight, a walk to pick up my daughter from Brownies was just what I needed.

We walked, and talked, and I took photos. The rose was in someone's hedge, and seemed to be drinking in the sunshine. I've found out how to use the macro button on my camera, and took the opportunity to try it out.

After a lovely walk, my husband my daughter and I arrived home thirsty and tired, to find the house all locked up! We had no keys or mobile phones! My teenage son, who had seemed to be in for the night, had gone out with his friends!

After I'd had a good walk around looking for him, he turned up about 45 mins later with his keys (he won't have a mobile phone).

Just enough time to put daughter to bed (very late), have a cup of tea, upload my blip, then go to bed.
