Another grading under my belt

'Scuse the pun.

I was delighted to find out that I'd passed my grading at the weekend and have the blue tabs on my belt. My instructor said that's the best I've done in terms of power and sharpness, so I was very pleased with that.

That's five gradings in a year and a half and I'm now half way to black belt, although purely numerically as I reckon it will take me longer to get the next five than it did to get the first five. Still hopefully well on target for being a black belt by the time I'm 40 though. I've got three and a half years left to do it in.
