You Say You Want a Revolution

As we were taking our first tour of the University of Liverpool campus today, we happened upon a student-led demonstration protesting England's new coalition government's decision to eliminate the cap on student fees and tuition currently in place at the nation's universities. The leader of our study abroad program, Paul (seen in the leftmost portion of the photo), is a true Socialist and he allowed us to participate in the march across campus.

This was truly the highlight of my day - being allowed to participate in an uprising against the government of England as an outsider, fighting for student rights.
