Planet or Star?

While i was taking photo's of the moon tonite, i saw this bright light, to my left (about 90degree turn) . It is much smaller than the moon of course, but soo bright.

I took one picture with my Canon (top right) and then another with my Sony (bottom right)... and when i downloaded, it looked like two different objects?

I've sent this to an Astronomy Friend of mine here in South AFrica, can't wait to hear what he has to say!
