Strange day!!

This is a picture of the lounge of the sheltered accommodation where my 84 year old aunt has her apartment in Liverpool.We went to collect her today to bring her to a convalescent home in Colwyn Bay for a holiday, as she hasn't been too well. It would have taken us about 3 hours max. round trip, but, unfortunately, when we arrived there she had locked herself out of her home!! After various permutations of trying to contact key-holders, who were all unavailable, and also trying to break in (!!) we eventually managed to find a locksmith, who was in the flat within 30 secs!! ( scary!!)
So, the round trip took approx. 6 hours and we were all knackered as we deposited her in her beautiful new surroundings, where she will spend a week resting and recuperating! Wish I'd booked in as well!!!
