Fragments of the past

If you look at the land beneath the kirk you will see evidence of life in a previous millenium - the kist or hearth has been cut in two by some farmer extracting sand. To the right is a midden and to the left a floor level. Bones fall to the bottom of the pit created by the farmer.

This place has too much archaeology, it falls out of the earth, disregarded.
