Take me out to the ball game

We decided to take a weekend trip to Minneapolis for our anniversary. We enjoyed wandering Nicollet Mall (essentially, downtown Minneapolis) and really enjoyed the food. I took more than 250 pictures on Saturday, so it was hard to choose today's post. This isn't my "best" or "most artistic" picture of the day, but perhaps it is my favorite, because it's of both of us. It's not easy to take a self portrait holding your SLR at arm's length, but it turned out quite well. After walking around, we came across the new Twins baseball stadium, Target Field, and Kyle wanted a peek inside, so we ended up watching a Minnesota high school boy's championship baseball game. The team we ended up cheering for lost, but we were able to get really close to the field. A very enjoyable day!
