Paxton House

Had a really lovely day. We took Mr BS's mum to Paxton House for soup and coffee and the inevitable cheese scone. The lentil soup, like a couple of weeks ago, was really good but oh dear, the cheese scone.... I told then a couple of weeks ago that the savoury scone seemed to have sugar in it. They said they would look in to it. So today we thought we'd risk them again. How disappointing. I don't know where they get them from but it's like a scone mix with cheese added. I wouldn't mind but cheese scones are really easy to make.

There are more important things in the world but not many.
