Go Mets!

The London Mets Bronco (under-13) team travelled out to Billericay to meet our most difficult opponents, the Essex Redbacks. The first game was a comfortable 9-1 win, with our 12 year old Japanese pitcher throwing a no-hitter - for the second week running! The second game was a much more tense affair finishing with a 3-2 win for the Mets to complete the sweep. This shot is one of our tough little Lithuanians clobbering the ball for a single (the ball is on the very left of the shot). We were really impressed with the players this week, we had great pitching, good hitting and some great joined-up plays too.
