Tasmanian Iris
These are really beautiful Iris'. Found them many years ago when we visited a Rare Plant Sale at Arley Hall in Cheshire.
They need separating now as they are very clumpy & in a small pot. This is a job to be done just after they have flowered.
They are very hardy, only about 1" across & produce many flowers from one stem. One flower appears, lasts a day then dies; next morning up pops another one. This process goes on anything from 10 to 20 days per stem.
They are one of the few flowers that can survive my north facing yard. Hope you like them too.
Enjoy Sunday :-)
