The Big Blip Beach BBQ

mrs monochrome, baby monochrome and I packed up our stuff and headed down to Gullane for the blip beach BBQ meet up. It was the wee man's first trip to the beach too, and his first encounter with sand and he seemed to really enjoy it. He's a wee thinker, so he spent a while picking up handfuls of sand and letting it out slowly. He also covered his shorts and the towel he was sitting on with sand, and I was surprised that his nappy wasn't full of it too.

Apart from a slight chill in the wind when we first arrived, the weather held for the day, and a good time was had by all. It was great meeting some new folk and catching up with some folk I've met before, and it was good to meet mrs42 and baby42 too. Thanks to SooB for organising the day - I think it is fair to say that the monochromes had a great day out.
