Bright and breezy

Wasn't how I was feeling when I woke up this morning. Persistent cough has now lasted 8 days and I am officially very bored of it.

So, a lazy morning, lazing around.

At lunchtime headed off to the school fair of godchild/good friends, expecting to stay about an hour or so, finally managed to drag A away after more than three hours. Lots of great stuff but we particularly enjoyed the circus skills display, and it is quite a simple way of chopping heads off and so making photography at a school fair acceptable.

Headed home late afternoon for other friends to head over and the transition between afternoon and evening was eased by good company and something nice and fizzy.

The final segment of the day is looking promising too with Carl's potato and prawn curry and Doctor Who on the menu.

ps - the breezy refers to the numerous occasions at the fair when the winds picked up and it seemed certain we were all in for a soaking, though thankfully nothing doing.
