Between the Two of Us

The sun shone, the sea sparkled deep blue, huge waves with frothy white tops crashed onto the shore and the blippers arrived with barbeques, sandwiches, sausages, beef burgers, booze, windbreaks...... and cameras.

It was the most magical of days. The sea was less than icy and several of us gave into the temptation, donned our swimming gear and danced in and over the waves for a lot longer than we had expected, given it's practically the North Sea.

Then it was down to the eating and chatting, sand in everything but hopefully not in the cameras.
The dogs played in and out of the water and the babies settled in their prams and fell asleep to the sound of laughter and chatter.

It couldn't have been a more successful blip meet and we have to thank SooB who suggested it and did much 'spade work' with arranging things. So thank you SooB and everyone else who made it such a delightful day.

The cameras were busy recording events, but my blip is of a 'tender moment' between SooB and Scobes as he was taking his leave.
