I read in the newspaper about this public house in Hebburn on Tyneside, where they have displayed a flag for every country taking part in the world cup.
We had a trip to see it today. I thought the flags would be on flag poles, but no they're on the roof. The scaffolding is left there, to help them take down the flags one at a time, as they are knocked out of the cup.
There is a sweep stake in the pub and no-one knows who has which country until a flag is removed.
