Chasing shadows I

A long hot day that got overtaken by work. By the time I finally escaped, there was just time for a couple of quick snaps of the evening's lengthening shadows, including this one.

Later on, I ran into a guy I haven't seen for maybe 20 years. We lived in the same street when we were kids, and he was the archetypal tall, dark and handsome type. Hmm, not any more. The passage of time can be so cruel...
