Gala Day

Busy Saturday. On duty at the church open day but managed to get out and watch the parade for our annual village Children's Gala.

Floats and walking tableau walk down the village main street following a band, finishing in the village park where there are games, rides, sports, ice creams and a tea tent.

This float represents the Harden players (of which I am a member) who are putting on 'Puss in Boots' as our pantomime next winter. (You may see more of this later!)

Two minutes after taking this I was squirted with the water gun!
