Starlight Walk

2000 ladies waiting for the stroke of midnight and the start of the Starlight Walk in aid of St Rocco's Hospice, Warrington.

The ordinary woman, Mrs Barbara Nice - that's Barbara as in Streisand, Nice as in the biscuit - warmed the ladies up before the start with her individual brand of bawdy jokes, I never knew that pelvic floors could be a fertile source of material.

My fellow marshall, Simon, who spent his 60th birthday receiving kisses and choruses of Happy Birthday from the passing ladies.
