L'Escargot Bleu

Not quite Martin Wishart but we decided to make it out for lunch seeing it was such a beautiful day. L'Escargot Bleu on Broughton Street was extremely pleasant and very reasonably proced for lunch/early dining. A couple of things on the A La Carte menu were considered, not least of which being the whole rib of beef carved at your table but we stuck with the cheaper options.

Star bar for some sunshine drinking afterwards but it got too hot for me especially after a large meal so we had to go inside. Bramble for a couple of cocktails (new menu to try out!) then home to relax.
