New carpet

The carpet in the lounge was fitted today and it looks really good. All that agonizing over the colour was worth it because the one I've chosen looks just right and I'm really pleased. And the horrible smell has now gone, replaced by the lovely 'new carpet' smell. Finally, I can start to get properly straight.

I also went onto the Freecycle web site today and found someone looking for a wall mounting for a tv (which I have taken off the wall in Paul's room and want to get rid of) and someone else who wants a small sofa bed - another thing that I want to get rid of because I don't really have the space. So they are coming over tomorrow to see if they are any good. Have also offered someone else all the boxes that are sitting in my garage ready for their house move, so a very successful venture into the Freecycling community.
