Very different picture from yesterday, but the day itself not very different (I acheived very little yesterday, and possibly a bit less today)
I did file away a few of the children's scribblings into a plastic box. I have to throw away a few, but I try to keep what I can. The picture on top here was sent home with my son when he was 4, for mothers day. Some of the other mums at the gate were welling up at their offspring writing such things as '..because she has the snuggliest cuddles' or 'reads me stories'.
I got this. 'I love my mum because she takes me to the toyshop'. Materialistic little toad. He looks so pleased with himself too. I hardly ever take him to the toyshop as it happens..
Evie came into the room as I took this picture, and she's still in there, rooting through it and crooning at stuff. Years and years ago in her world. It's not just parents that like to look back.
What also makes me smile is the word Super on the side. I only EVER hear teachers or really really posh people use that word.
