A New Area on Board
The pic today is from a new area for us. They have sought out Harisen to explain to them, how we can help. Now they have agreed to work with us, for a better future for themselves.
The next process is to set up their co op, or club as they call it and assess and agree their needs.
We will then look at their drinking water sources and decide if they can be upgraded or if they need new wells and pumps.
We then look at their common village garden, and agree a location for water storage and irrigation systems.
Finally, a basic requirement, everyone must begin compost making!!
John,
These guys are ready and willing to work with us, they are in Kazando, its 8km from town and they have a big land.
I talked to a guy in St John of God about those 30 students who will be coming in Aug 2008, but he said the rooms in the College will be occupied by the students.
I will ask Fr Ryan, about accommodation at the University tomorrow and I will come up with a solution.
The auctioneer has accepted to sell the banana land at 600,000mk but refused to reduce beyond that.
Regards
Harisen
