Baby Gavin

This morning I dragged the kiddos around all morning grocery shopping at 2 stores, bank run, taking grandma on errands, etc. Poor kids, poor me! :D Loren and Landon wished they had been at the movies seeing A-Team with Liam, Cody & Linda! Loren was a huge help unloading and putting away groceries though! Thank you Loren! Later in the afternoon, Valene stopped by with Baby Gavin. He has grown so VERY much in 8 weeks! Here is a picture of him shortly after birth. and a picture of the shower favor of his soon-to-come arrival! He is already weighing in at 15 pounds! It was nice to spend time with Valene and to get my 'baby fix'. This pic is of Landon holding the little guy. It is kind of sad knowing that Landon is my last 'baby' and will not be a big brother. Landon was fascinated with baby Gavin.

Tonight I celebrated being home with the family and not having baseball, so I tried a new recipe! This recipe for quinoa corn salad came from my friend Erick seen here in his blip. The meal included baked teryaki chicken, quinoa corn salad & watermelon. The kids got a treat of eating on their TV trays in front of the TV watching the movie 'Aliens In The Attic'. I think I liked the movie as much as they did. Once they were in bed, Gary & I enjoyed the movie 'Valentines Day' while I sipped a margarita. How nice it was to have an evening of down time.
