Surveillance

A photography exhibition at the Tate Modern has got me thinking today. The subjects in most of the photographs didn't know they had been taken. Candid shots often capture a realism that isn't possible in posed shots.

It made me laugh when at the back of the booklet that went along with the exhibition it said no cameras and phones allowed! If only I had noticed while I was inside as I would have tried to sneak a shot. Instead I took this from a balcony at the Tate of some unsuspecting members of the public below.
