"The purple one is the precious one"

My children bought me in a present from the garden, a jar with some flowers, stones and grass floating in water. It was a lovely surprise (not least considering they'd made it together after they'd spent most of the morning winding each other up). Then they added the last flower. A single purple flower. Then declared "The purple one is the precious one mummy!". Considering the day, I thought that quite fitting. :)
