Thimpu

Day 1 of our honeymoon in the land of thunder dragon. The place is most beautiful, serene and peaceful. The hour-long ride from Paro to Thimpu was enjoyable and it set the tone of the days to come. After checking in and lunch, we went out to explore Thimpu. Dzongs and monasteries pretty much took the entire afternoon. An evening stroll in the Thimpu town made for a perfect first day in Bhutan.
