Gazebo in the park

You would hardly think from this peaceful setting that you were feet away from a busy intersection, though if you look carefully you can see a couple of vehicles behind the hedge. After a couple of dull, oppressively muggy, and occasionally stormy couple of days, today was actually very pleasant - blue sky and sunshine and less humidity. Unfortunately the temperatures will be on the rise again, and we will be up to 90F by the weekend and for at least the following five days. I was home this morning doing housework, then went swimming at the outdoor pool this afternoon, stopping for a bit of grocery shopping and this blip on the way back. Roger left this morning for an overnight business trip to Michigan, so it was just Laura and I for dinner this evening.
