Love Can Be Found Anywhere
Vultures
In the greyness
And drizzle of one despondent
Dawn unstirred by harbingers
Of sunbreak a vulture
Perching high on broken
Bone of a dead tree
Nestled close to his
Mate his smooth
Bashed-in head, a pebble
On a stem rooted in
A dump of gross
Feathers, inclined affectionately
To hers. Yesterday, they picked
The eyes from a swollen
Corpse in a water-logged
Trench and ate the
Things in its bowel
by Chinua Achebe
Thought i'd continue with the bug theme i've had the past 4 blips, and this will be the 5th. maybe i'll leave it at that. it wasn't actually intentional, however they all turned out to have some insectuallar referance.
a fairly simple day, popped into school this afternoon to help miss goodman with some forms and then orchestra it was alright, quite nice as a day. no stress
day #3 of no compulsory school tomorow
*the poem is only an extract, probably about halfway through taken from Chinua Achebe's poem 'Vultures' its a nice one'
