Wadworths Shires

Here in Devizes, Wadworths brewery still delivers to all their pubs by shire horse and cart. It is a charming site in this pretty market town.

On Thursday afternoons you can visit the stables and see the horses. They are magnificent animals -- enormous! So gentle and wise. Well worth a visit.


If, unlike me, you are a beer enthusiast the tour of the brewery is also a must. And here you can buy your favourite beers.
