Road Trip Day 1: Eastern Sierras

I accompanied Pelicanguy on a trip to his sister's home in Pahrump, Nevada ( about 60 miles west of Las Vegas). Neither of us likes to drive, but he had stuff to bring back that required a car.

On our first day, we reached the eastern side of the Sierra Mountains. Very uncrowded twisty roads with mountains, pines, aspens, wildflowers, patches of snow, and mountain streams. Some of the roads have only just opened up from winter, and some aren't open yet. For our overnight, we reached Lee Vining, a tiny town next to Mono Lake.
