Big Bumble.

Spotted this big bumble bee on the lupins and then it moved onto the geraniums where it stayed still long enough for me to get a photograph. I didn't notice until I looked at the photo on the big computer screen but it appears there is a mite on the back of the bee.

The sunshine seems to have all sorts of insects buzzing around this afternoon, bees, hoverflies, butterflies, moths and beetles were all to be seen but this bee turned out to be my favourite photo of the afternoon.
