Silvereye (aka waxeye or white eye)

I usually have heaps of these wee things in my garden but as soon as they sense me they disappear hence I never get any shots.....

But today I found a natural 'hide' - the bathroom!

A stealthy opening of the window and not a flicker of fear from the wee silvereyes. The downer was that the sun was well down and they didn't seem interested in sitting in the sunny spots and posing. Ah well, another day.
