one problem with riding in the city is the constant starting and stopping at traffic lights
there is always a small flutter of relief and freedom when the last set of lights is passed and i am off into the country
there is a certain school of cycling thought that says that these lights don't really apply to us.
and that to stay alive we have to take whatever actions are necessary to avoid the evil motorist...
just one attempt on my life today. ok, maybe the guy didn't want to actually kill me, he just did a damn good job of making me fear for it. the dew that settles on windows on the cooler autumn mornings can cause problems but hey, as long as the front screen is wiped, HE'll get to work ok
after that i chose a quiet shortcut through the park...
be careful out there
