empty nest

Primary 7 parents gathered this morning to wave goodbye to our chicks for 5 days, as they headed off for a week of outdoor adventures. It's going to be very quiet round here this week, so we headed to the Fort after work for some retail therapy and a bite to eat. I remember this life, it has it's advantages, but it's no match for the alternative, roll on Friday.
