Slugs are the new snails

Someone was telling me that recently. Apparently in areas where Escargot are popular slugs are becoming as much of a delicacy. You wash the slime off, cook them and they are just as good eating as snails. Personally I wouldn't eat either of them, but for those who do this guy would have made pretty good eating. It must have been about four inches long.

I spotted it on an ill fated walk to the high school to take WeeRadgeMadge swimming since she was off school today. Unfortunately, while the High School was closed too, the leisure centre bit wan;t open to non High School kids like it normally is out of hours. Oh well, we ended up going for a wander down the village instead but it wasn't quite the same.
