Life Fragments

These are the fragments of my life:

A piece of the instrument I played in high school.
The Cd cover of one of the first cds I bought, and the first band whose Cd's I collected.
The plastic sword from a toy line that was big when I was a kid, and was rereleased when I was an adult.
The stapler that once belonged to an ex girl friend, who was my first and only girlfriend, and who broke my heart.
My diploma from college, which hasn't proved very useful in finding a job.
A cell phone that I once used, but had to get the service cut off because I couldn't afford it anymore.
A shirt from a job I once had.
A DVD of the low budget independent movie I made with my brothers.

These are the fragments of my life. Fragments of memories that have passed away. Some bring hope, some bring relief. Even in times of grief and times I get depressed, there has been a joy that sustained me throughout my life. I know there will be more fragments of life to add to the pile that's too big for one picture to tell, but I know that the joy that helped me through these fragments will help me through the future fragments, if I only just believe.
