slide night

No, this is not some ironic hipster rock band. It's my family circa 1974 (I'm on the lower left in the redish jacket and blue scarf). The only one missing from the photo is the photographer. Let's just agree not to talk about the headgear, OK?

My mother is always complaining about all the old slides they have and what to do with them. So while we were visiting them yesterday, I told her to stop complaining and get them out already and so we did.

There is some discussion as to the legitimacy of posting an old photo like this. I don't want to reopen that discussion, but wanted to acknowledge it. I'll leave it to the discretion of the moderators if this image falls within Blip's guidelines and leave it at that.
