Birds at Boat of Garten

Two days off work. Fantastic, the reason is that it's Darrens birthday on Thursday so he wanted a well deserved break from the Inn and of course he wouldn't go without the wife. Bonus!

Left Darren to chill at the hotel and walked to the near by pond with an abundance of birds. Little duckling attempted to swallow my finger as I sat taking photos of them on the bank, was too busy watching through the lense to notice it eyeing up my finger.

Going to a talk at the village hall by the RSPB. Had a couple of LARGE glasses of wine so hope I'm not ready to fall asleep half way through. there is coffee on offer so might be a good idea to have a cup.

Looking forward to tomorrow might see some osprey.
