Dots and velvet

Inspired by Ms Megatonlove's lovely still life photos I wanted to have a go at one of my own. Unforunately I realised I couldn't find a proper light source, so I settled for a macro shot for today. My pincushion, found in a sewing box from a Salvation Army sale (£5, bargain of the century), stuffed with cheap colourful pins. I use wedding dress pins as they are easier to grab hold of when embedded in layer of hoodie material.
