Charlotte and I walked our 20 miles in the pouring rain. The last two were hard, but we did it in four hours and forty six minutes which was not bad at all. My left sock was red with blood when I removed (very carefully!) my trainer - I showed it to the children and was rewarded with a collective Woah! and a slight elevation in their esteem of me!!
