Apartment blocks
These are our apartment blocks over here, or like we call it, Housing Development Board (HDB) flats. Depending on the layout, it could be anything from a 1-room flat to a 5-room flat.
Newer flats are shrinking in size. There isn't enough space to even hang the family's clothes out to dry! I do hope the average Singaporean homes will not be reduced to the sizes of apartment flats in Hongkong. Though at the rate of our island-city's rate of progress and rapidly changing skyline, it won't be a surprise even if it does happen.
*shudder*

Work has been somewhat tiresome. Not work per se, mind you, but of colleagues. A few in particular comes to mind, especially with their characteristic anger which bubbles within, not knowing when it will explode. They seem to be *very* sensitive with what is being said, or not said. And I feel like we're tip-toeing around, making sure we are politically-correct in what we say or do.
It is tiring.
Emotionally tiring.
We have a presentation tomorrow.
Do pray for us.
Thank you.
