I got up this morning and had a million things to do, but the only thing on my mind was going to my ex-father-in-laws memorial service. It was held this afternoon, and 410 people attended. He was very well loved by so many, and he had a large family that is very close.

It is hard to know where you fit in when you have divorced from someone in a family, but I was still included in as a family member and was able to see many people I had not seen in years. At a time like this, that is very important.

Life is very short, we have to live it the best we can and always be there for others.
