...decoration for a hospital building.

see it every day when i visit my mum. not got the energy to research, but it does seem that it was actually built for the hospital. such intricate stone carving, with what look like royal emblems & mottos. any info gratefully received.

and the shot was cropped & brightened but i forgot to save it & am too tired to go back - sorry for sub-standard blip.
