The Edge

Took a very pleasant wander around the woods in Alderley Edge towards The eponymous[1] Edge. Not the best day for it - it was heavily overcast and a light shower started as we were walking around. But it was warm and the rain was refreshing.

Yesterday would have been better and that was meant to be the plan but it was scuppered by a migraine. We managed a hundred yards from the front door before a shimmering blind spot appeared[2] in my left eye - a sure fire sign that I had about half an hour to find plenty of painkillers and a bed in a dark room.

Enough about me. How's everyone else doing? Well? Good.


[1] is it right to use the word eponymous to describe something other than a person?
[2] or would it have disappeared ... oh, you get the idea.
